Mrs. Felicia Beasley, was born on March 13, 1933 in San Juan, Puerto Rico; she departed on November 1, 2009 in New York City from natural causes.
Felicia was the daughter of (the late) Felicia Amador and (the late) Antonio Rodriguez. Felicia was preceded in death by her husband (the late) Francis Joseph Beasley (aka) One Shot. Her son Francis Beasley (aka) Junie, her daughter Elizabeth Parker (aka) Lizzie, her grandson Ricky Beasley and her daughter Yvonne Beasley.
In 1951 at the age of 18, Felicia moved to New York City. In 1952 she met and married One Shot. Together they had five children: Yvonne, Junie, Lizzie, Charlene and Alex (aka) Pino. In the summer of 1971 she met her love and companion Richard Stevenski. Together they lovingly adopted Juliana Erwin in June of 1990 and in May of 1991 lovingly adopted Christina Finkle (aka) Mousey. In the summer of 1994 Felicia tragically suffered a massive stroke that left her unable to speak and walk. She lived the rest of her years in Wyatt T. Walker Sr. Houses in Manhattan, where she was cared for by her love Richie and her home health aides Brianna, Sally, Joanne, Jackie and Nurse Natalia and Dr. Peter Giliato, who together as a team, gave Felicia exceptional care.
Felicia will forever be missed and leaves behind her Best Friend and Companion Richard Stevenski, daughter Charlene Fason, son Alex Beasley. Her beautiful adopted children Juliana Erwin and Christian Finkle, grandchildren Tony Curtis Vadun, Lisa Roberts, Michael Beasley, Lamont Beasley, Carl Parker, Maurice Parker, Tyrell Fason, Duane Fason, Troy Fason, Sean Fason, Al Beasley, Aaron Beasley, Ariana Beasley, Alyssa Beasley, Asher Beasley, Ezra Beasley, along with great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
One devoted daughter-in-law Evette Beasley who loved and faithfully served Felicia from the time she took ill until her death. A heartfelt thank you for making Felicia’s life significant.
